Promate

Promate is a broad-spectrum insecticide that kills insects upon contact by affecting the normal function of the nervous system. When insects are exposed, chlorpyrifos binds to the active site of the cholinesterase (ChE) enzyme, which prevents the breakdown of ACh in the synaptic cleft. It is a non-systemic insecticide with contact, stomach, and respiratory action.

• in Rice, 2–3 cm standing water should be available in the field.

Keep water impounded for 2–3 days after application.

Uses : 

to control Coleopteran, Diptera, Homoptera, and Lepidoptera pests in soil or on foliage.
