Fenobucarb (BPMC) 20% SE + Buprofezin 5% SE is a combination insecticide used in agriculture to control sucking and chewing pests, especially in paddy (rice) crops.
Active Ingredients:
Fenobucarb (BPMC) – 20% SE (Soluble Emulsion)
→ A carbamate group insecticide, effective against adult brown planthoppers and green leafhoppers.Buprofezin – 5% SE
→ An insect growth regulator (IGR), mainly effective on the nymph stages of planthoppers and whiteflies by inhibiting molting.

Dosage Recommendation:
Dose: 800 ml per acre
Dilution: Mix in 200–300 liters of water per acre

Mode of Action:
Fenobucarb: Acts as a contact and systemic nerve poison, knocking down pests quickly.
Buprofezin: Interferes with chitin synthesis, preventing molting and development of nymphs.
Application Timing:
Early appearance of planthopper or leafhopper.
Use at pest threshold levels (ETL) to avoid resistance.
Precautions:
Avoid spraying during strong wind or rain.
Wear protective clothing during handling.
Follow a rotation strategy to prevent resistance.
