Product Overview:

Mode of Action:

• Pretilachlor is a pre-emergent herbicide used to control weeds before they emerge.

• It inhibits cell division in emerging weed shoots, thus preventing their growth.

• Provides effective residual control of weeds in rice fields.

Target Crops & Weeds:

Dosage Recommendation(Based on Crop stages):

• Per Acre: 500 – 600 ml

• Water Requirement: 200 – 300 liters per acre

• Per Liter of Water: ~2 – 3 ml

• Apply within 3–5 days after transplanting (DAT)

Method of Application:

• Ensure thin film of water is present in the field during spraying.

• Do not drain water for 2–3 days after application.

• Use flat-fan or flood jet nozzle for uniform coverage.

Precautions:

• Use only in transplanted rice (not direct-seeded).

• Avoid application during heavy rains.

• Wear gloves and mask during spraying.

• Store in original container away from food/feed.
