FENBU -QUIT

Fenobucarb (BPMC) 20% SE + Buprofezin 5% SE is a combination insecticide used in agriculture to control sucking and chewing pests, especially in paddy (rice) crops.

Active Ingredients:

• Fenobucarb (BPMC) – 20% SE (Soluble Emulsion)
  → A carbamate group insecticide, effective against adult brown planthoppers and green leafhoppers.

• Buprofezin – 5% SE
  → An insect growth regulator (IGR), mainly effective on the nymph stages of planthoppers and whiteflies by inhibiting molting.

Target Crops & Pests:

Dosage Recommendation:

• Dose: 800 ml per acre

• Dilution: Mix in 200–300 liters of water per acre

• Per Liter Water: Approx. 4 ml

Mode of Action:

• Fenobucarb: Acts as a contact and systemic nerve poison, knocking down pests quickly.

• Buprofezin: Interferes with chitin synthesis, preventing molting and development of nymphs.

Application Timing:

• Early appearance of planthopper or leafhopper.

• Use at pest threshold levels (ETL) to avoid resistance.

Precautions:

• Avoid spraying during strong wind or rain.

• Wear protective clothing during handling.

• Follow a rotation strategy to prevent resistance.
